In-state and out-of-state projects

Present out-of-state projects are in California and Colorado. In her native Texas, she is in the process of finishing several jobs in the Austin area and is continually busy right here in Houston. Linda just completed work in Horseshoe Bay, Lake Jackson, and Rockport area. More projects are anticipated to follow in the Rockport, Bellaire and West University area, as well as continuing renovations in Memorial and West Houston.

Included in her many endeavors are not only residential design, but also large corporate offices, banks, physician's offices, and retail spaces. One of her particular areas of expertise are conference rooms.

Innovator of design

Linda is most importantly an interior designer, but unlike most licensed interior designers, she is also a major renovator and custom home builder. Linda grew up in the construction business, as her father was a prominent Houston home builder. She gained valuable working knowledge of basic residential construction from her father. Eventually, she became his chief operating assistant for several years before she branched off on her own to form The Morris Companies.

Established in 1972,

The Morris Companies is recognized as one of the leading Interior Design firms in Texas. Linda Morris is not just another member of the American Society of the Interior Design, but is truly an innovator in her love of design. Linda has been identified as a significant part of A.S.I.D. for over 20 years. For the record, she has license #36 of more than 10,000 registered interior designers in Texas. Linda is a founding member of the Texas Association of Interior Design. She also belongs to the International Furnishings and Design Association, and has been listed in "Who's Who in International Interior Design" for the last seven consecutive years.
